Following the huge success of last year’s event, Watersprite 2012 is proud to once again provide student screenwriters with the opportunity to have their work critiqued by an industry expert through the Script Lab competition. Aurite Kouts, one of the winners of our Script Lab competition in 2011, submitted her revised script ‘Fur Coat’ to the Zagreb Jewish Film Festival talent workshop and it was selected to be made. The Watersprite Team are looking for student screenwriters to submit their short film scripts which, after a shortlisting process, will be narrowed down to 3 scripts by an industry expert to take part in the Script Lab. The Script Lab will take form as a one-hour long session where the winning scripts will be developed and reworked with this expert, while also showing the audience how a screenplay moves from pitch to concept to film. So get submitting your work for this rare opportunity!
