As an international festival that promotes the best student filmmakers from across the world, Watersprite attracts a lot of press. Press coverage is vital as it helps to promote Watersprite beyond Cambridge and encourages more industry professionals to visit the festival, as well as increasing general awareness of the event. The role of Press Officer is very important and presents a great opportunity to gain some experience communicating with those involved in the industry.

Key tasks:
– write a press release for the festival
– communicate with the Press to encourage them to attend pre-festival events and the festival itself
– act as the key figure linking the Press and the festival, ensuring they have a key point of contact throughout the year

If you’re interested, the Watersprite team would love to hear from you! Please fill out the form below. Applications will close at midnight on 12th June 2017.
