Watersprite is made up of two strands: The Watersprite Awards, with submissions opening in October, closing in December and the ceremony in February, and the festival at which the Awards are held, which takes place from 24-26 February.

We aim to hit the perfect mix of fun, education and celebration at the festival, so we hold a combination of screenings, talks, panels, discussions, workshops, evening drinks and our Awards ceremony. Most importantly, the whole weekend is FREE to attend and everyone is welcome! We will update these pages as speakers and events are confirmed. Nearer the festival we will also post the full screening details of our nominated films.

Volunteer registration is now closed. But there’s always another way to be part of Watersprite – attending our talks and workshops and getting to meet some really wonderful film-makers! Check out the activities lined up for you right here - get excited!
